Interior Design / Designer Runway Fashion Show

Interior Design combined with Fashion Design is center stage as the Interior Design industry supports Rebecca Robeson as she hosts DESIGNER RUNWAY a fund raising event in Orange County California. Highly acclaimed fashion designer Sue Wong, shows her timeless and romantic collection of exquisite dresses along with Jewelry designer Joe Polthakorn of Vilaiwan Fine Jewelry.

Part 2 of this annual event, Designer Runway, is the Interior Design portion where 12 Interior Design firms step out of their traditional roles and use their design skills to create a high fashion, runway worthy outfit, in a limited amount of time. Each team is awarded a group of upholstery weight fabrics. They are allowed to use pins, duck tape, hot glue, bungie cords and such to create their garments but are forbidden to use any kind of thread or sewing materials. In 90 minutes, these creative individuals pull off a fashion miracle entertaining the audience with their beautiful, eccentric and sometimes bazaar creations. A good time is had by all in this highly enjoyed annual event.

Congratulations to REJOY INTERIORS, WINNER OF THIS EVENT.

  1. Hi Madam Robeson..I'm a 18years old boy from Malaysia..I'm now going to college and taking design.I like to design much and I believe that I'm creativity enough.
The question I wanna ask you is..which course should I choose..I love fashion design and I like interior design too…I do a lots research about fashion design course in Malaysia and it's not good enough..I know that the future of interior designer will be better than fashion designer…but…can you please help me ? ;(

  2. You did an amazing job and you looked absolutely exquisite. Your daughter chose a beautiful necklace to go with your gorgeous gown. Im amazed that the designers created those designs in just 90 minutes.

  3. Dear rebbeca,
i am a big fan and i am not really a youtube sensation i was always wondering would you always do this for free?and do you need to have youtube?

  4. @AnimeLuvers101 , You must not be a subscriber of my other channel. Of you were, you would know we upload a brand new Makeover Monday episode every week… 38 episodes so far this year! link to my other channel on my home/channel page. RR

  5. @Arell Olson, while Sue Wong is very talented, she's not exactly generous… or personable for that matter. She has a highly elevated view of herself and her work. The thought she would "give away" a dress would have been foreign to her I'm sure!
I did get the dress… but I bought it myself, a few week later… when I was invited to a GALA in Beverly Hills. It was perfect for the event. The dress was beautiful but honestly the real talent was the jewelry designer Joe Polthakorn of Vilaiwan RR

  6. Rebecca I looove your videos! I am 13 years old and want to be an interior designer someday too! I really like watching your house tours before and after your work. If you could post some more recent interior design videos, I would love it!

  7. How fun that night must have been! I just loved all of the designs and my favorite design won first place! You did such a great job (as usual!) 😉 Thanks so much for showing this. It put me in such a great mood to watch! You looked fabulous too. Did you get to keep your gown? 😉

  8. So. Jealous.
Well, I'm glad you got to have a really fun experience with your daughter. It looked like so much fun to be involved with. Hope that you and your adorable family and helpers stay happy and healthy with all the craziness!

  9. Fabulous job Rebecca! You are so relaxed & personable on stage & on camera! You looked stunning in that dress & necklace! Congratulations! What a fun event full of talent!
